Spray Dry Service

Contract and toll spray drying for food, food supplement and biological actives.

Liquid feeds, dried to an agreed specification

Bionorm dries client-supplied liquids and material sourced in house. Contract drying and encapsulation are part of its contract manufacturing business.

The dryer is chosen by project volume. Each batch is released against the agreed specification with a Certificate of Analysis.

Bionorm production

Three service models

A project can start at any of these points. The difference is who supplies the material.

Toll drying

Raw materialSupplied by the client

Client-supplied liquid is dried to the agreed specification and returned as powder. The formulation stays with the client.

Contract manufacturing

Raw materialSourced by Bionorm

Bionorm sources the plant material, extracts and dries it, and delivers a finished powder. One supplier from raw material to drum.

Joint development

Raw materialClient or Bionorm

A target exists but no process route. Carrier, drying parameters and specification are developed together, then carried into production.
