Turkey belonging to the Sapindaceae family.

The plant Aesculus hippocastanum contains Aescine a triterpene glycoside is known to be the active chemical constituent, whereas it also contains
flavonoids, quercetin and kaempferol inside.

 

Indications

Horse Chestnut extract is generally used in venous disorders such as varicose veins and to treat poor circulation causing swelling of the legs, due to its venotonic effects.
